The U17 Wrestling Championships of Kyrgyzstan kicked off in Bishkek on February 5, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports reported.
The competitions are taking place at the Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul Sports Palace.
On the first day of the tournament, 10 sets of medals will be contested among girls in the 40, 43, 46, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69, and 73 kilogram weight categories.
Based on the results of the championships, the Kyrgyzstan’s national team will be formed to participate in international tournaments.
