AFC U17 qualifiers: Kyrgyzstan’s national football team defeats Guam

The national youth football team of Kyrgyzstan secured its first victory in the AFC U17 qualifying round. The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) reported on social media.

According to the union, matches involving the Kyrgyzstan’s team are currently taking place in Bishkek.

On November 26, in the third round of the qualifiers, the Kyrgyz team played against their counterparts from Guam and won 9-0.

This victory was the team’s first in this qualifier. They had previously lost to Yemen (0-2) and Pakistan (1-3), losing their chance to advance to the AFC U17 finals.

Following these defeats, the KFU dismissed the team’s head coach, Alexander Bauer from Austria.
